Exceptions to 24 Hour Service — Newsprint Orders
Please be advised that there are circumstances in which your newsprint order may not qualify for 24-hour turnaround. Please review the list below for common instances which will delay turnaround time.
1. Your job was submitted after 4:00 pm your time (Monday-Friday).
The print/ship date of your order will be moved back one business day for orders received after 4:00 pm.
Example: Your order is submitted at 4:30 pm your time on Tuesday. It will print and ship on Thursday (granted the order meets our printing specifications). Orders must be submitted prior to 4:00 pm to ensure shipment the following business day.
As submission times vary due to file size and server connection speed, please allow ample time for your order to upload before the 4:00 pm deadline. Order submissions must be complete prior to 4:00 pm to ensure 24-hour turnaround. Orders received after 4:00 pm are bumped to the following business day by our automated system.
2. Corrections for a “Problem” job were submitted after 4 pm your time.
JS Printing makes every effort to contact you as soon as possible if there is a technical problem with your order. You may reduce the possibility of your order going into problem status by always using a flightcheck program or your design program’s internal packaging feature to flag and correct all issues before submitting your order.
Example: We receive your corrections at 4:30 pm your time on Tuesday, your order will print and ship on Thursday (granted the order meets our printing specifications). Orders must be submitted prior to 4:00 pm to ensure shipment the following business day.
When all problems are resolved, your order will be put back into production and will print and ship the following day, granted all problems are resolved by 4 pm. For corrections submitted after 4 pm, please refer to Exception # 1.

4. Printing Peak Times and Holidays
During peak times, we require a 48 hour turnaround time, rather than our standard 24-hour turnaround due to the volume of orders received. Also, company-observed holidays are designated as non-printing/non-shipping days. Please review the Printing Schedule Calendar for more information and specific dates affected.
